This coming February, Watches & Wonders will take place in the Miami Design District for the very first time. The four-day event will be hosted by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) and the Miami Design District Associates (MDDA), with a slew of events, talks, and novelties to peruse. And the best part? All new timepieces for 2018, fresh from their debut at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, will be on display for the first time after SIHH, and we want you to join us to check them out.
No stranger to watch brands, the Miami Design District is home to some of the biggest names in the business, such as A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, IWC, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin, and more. So what is there to see February 16-19 at Watches & Wonders Miami? A lot. There will be just-unveiled SIHH novelties, and other exceptional pieces on display at various brand boutiques, but there will also be watch-focused talks, a special art exhibition, workshops, and conferences, all open to the public. Of course, we’ll be hosting a good old-fashioned HODINKEE meet-up too.
If you live in the Miami area or are open to coming down for the weekend, there will be lots of other things to see as well, as Watches & Wonders Miami coincides with the Miami Design District Concours – a show featuring hundreds of rare vintage and exotic sports cars and luxury automobiles – as well as the 30th annual Miami Yacht Show. Like we said, there will be lots to do and we will be there for the entire weekend. We will follow up with a more details as February approaches, but until then, mark your calendars for February 16-19.
