Noted red shirt enthusiast and living golf legend Tiger Woods won his 80th PGA Tour title with an incredible 11-under-par performance at this past weekend’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course near Atlanta, Georgia. With a Rolex Deepsea 126660 on his wrist, Woods held the famous Calamity Jane Putter, marking his first major win in half a decade and an incredible comeback by one of the best to ever play the game.
Having undergone spinal surgery in the spring of 2017, this win, and his return to form, is all the more impressive and only serves to underline Tiger’s status as an incredible and determined athlete. As for the Deepsea, while perhaps not the ideal wrist wear while actually playing golf, Woods is a passionate diver and certainly not the only pro golfer to prefer a big Rolex dive watch. Plus it just looks great on his wrist. Now within two wins of the all-time PGA record, Woods has been a Rolex ambassador since 2011 and you have to assume the brand is thrilled to see him healthy and once again playing at the top of the sport.
