How to Sell Your Rolex to Apex Gold Silver Coin

Selling a Rolex is simple when you know what to bring and how to identify your watch. Here is how it works at our Winston-Salem shop. See also how we buy Rolex watches and luxury watches we buy.

What to bring

• The watch. Running or not.
• A valid photo ID. Required to sell a watch.
• The original box, if you have it.
• Extra bracelet links. A full-size bracelet matters to the next owner.
• Papers and warranty card, plus any service receipts.

How to identify your watch

• Model name is printed on the dial, for example Submariner, Datejust, GMT-Master II or Day-Date.
• Reference number (the model number) is on the warranty card or papers. On many older models it is engraved on the case between the lugs at 12 o’clock, under the bracelet.
• Serial number is on the warranty card. On newer models it is engraved on the inner ring of the dial (the rehaut) near 6 o’clock. On many older models it is between the lugs at 6 o’clock.
• Don’t remove the bracelet yourself if you are not comfortable doing it. We can check the numbers at the counter.

Good to know

• We give a soft estimate from photos, and a final offer after we see the watch in person.
• We don’t do insurance valuations or paperwork. We buy what you bring to sell.
• Don’t polish or service the watch just to sell it. Bring it as it is.
