What to Bring When Selling Gold and Silver
ID rules in North Carolina
Checklist
- Your items. Jewelry, scrap gold, gold and silver coins, silver dollars, bullion and watches.
- Valid government photo ID for anything other than coins and bullion.
- Coins as they are. Leave them in their rolls, sets, folders or albums. Don’t clean them.
- Mixed lots are fine. No need to sort gold by karat. We sort and test at the counter.
- Paperwork if you have it. Original boxes or receipts for watches and mint sets can help.
Before you drive
- No appointment needed. Walk in during business hours.
- Call (336) 505-9503 for pricing, or send photos for a free soft estimate. The final offer comes after we test your items in person.
- Coming close to closing time? Call ahead so we can be ready for you.
