Team HODINKEE is out in LA for a week and if you haven’t come by already, or at least don’t plan to, you’re doing it wrong. We kicked off things on Friday with an opening bash at the beautiful UTA Artist Space in Beverly Hills. Saturday morning we followed it up with a killer cars and coffee outside with appearances from the likes a Ferrari F40, a Porsche 959, a Zagato bodied Alfa Romeo, a Ferrari 250 Lusso, an unrestored 300SL – oh, and a Singer 911, an Emory 911, and a Ruf Yellowbird.
Immediately following that, Stephen hosted a live recording of HODINKEE Radio with the one and only Spike Feresten where he told us all about going from serving at a bar in college to writing some of the most iconic episodes of Seinfeld. After that, Ben moderated a panel with three Talking Watches legends and mega-collectors Eric Ku, Matt Jacobson, and Morgan King.
In addition to live programming, we have a selection of HODINKEE Shop products available including vintage watches of all kinds and new, authorized watches – all of which benefit from the free shipping and additional year warranty that come from our online shop.
We also have a huge selection of leather goods and accessories from the shop available, in addition to both volumes of the HODINKEE Magazine.
What’s more, we even brought along a sample of the TAG Heuer x HODINKEE Autavia Calibre Heuer 02 (inspired by the vintage “Orange Boy” Autavia), making it one of the first places in the world to be shown publicly. You can come try it on and reserve yours in person or right here.
You can also see the full history of HODINKEE Limited Edition watches, dating all the way back to the MB&F LM101 in steel through, yes, the brand new and yet to be delivered Omega H10 Speedmaster.
Oh, and if you plan to come, you can expect to have one of our photographers ask to see what you’re wearing on your wrist, so make sure you put on your best.
