Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical
For years, Hamilton was one of the major watchmakers operating in America’s once-thriving watch industry. With the Khaki Field Mechanical, Hamilton – now based in Switzerland – pays tribute to its history as a maker of great American military watches. With its 38mm, brushed stainless steel case, drilled lugs, great vintage looks, and sub-$500 price tag, this timepiece might be the best value of any new watch offered in 2018.
Shell Cordovan Watch Straps
Many of our leather goods are manufactured here in the U.S. using American materials, including our Shell Cordovan straps, which are made using genuine Shell Cordovan from the Horween Leather Company in Chicago, Illinois. Thanks to its thin, robust nature and the incredible patina it develops over time, Shell Cordovan has become some of the most sought after leather in the world. These straps are all made by hand in the U.S. and come in three varieties, but we particularly love the unlined version for summer. You can shop all Shell Cordovan Straps here.
Vacheron Constantin Historiques American 1921
The Historiques American 1921 has one of the most distinctive looks in modern watchmaking. At once classical and avant garde, the watch features a dial turned 45 degrees to enable easy reading while driving a car with one’s left hand planted securely on the steering wheel. As the story goes, the vintage precursor of this timepiece was made expressly for the American market in the early 1920s. We’re pleased to offer this contemporary execution in two sizes, one measuring 36.5mm and the other 40mm.
Patek Philippe In America
One of the world’s foremost experts on vintage watches, John Reardon, chronicles the history of Patek Philippe in the United States. The good ole U.S.A. was historically (and remains today) a key market for Patek. And, indeed, many of the Geneva watchmaker’s most important commission pieces from the golden age of watchmaking were created for American collectors. Not only is this beautiful volume replete with rarely seen images from the Henri Stern Watch Agency, but it’s also a fascinating tome full of rich history and great stories that you won’t find elsewhere.
Limited Edition Paul Newman At Sebring Archival Print, Signed And Numbered
Paul Newman is a giant of American cinema, style, and motorsports, and on this Fourth of July we’re reminded of this iconic image of “Cool Hand Luke” taken at Florida’s Sebring Race Track in 1978. In the photo, Newman is wearing the most expensive wristwatch ever to sell at auction, the exotic dial Rolex Daytona that would come to be known by collectors as the Paul Newman Daytona. Just 25 prints in two sizes are available, and each is signed and numbered by the photographer.
